Luthier Oskar Graf has handcrafted classical and steel-string acoustic guitars since the late 1960s. In addition, Graf offered acoustic bass guitars, solid body upright string basses, eight- and ten-string classical guitars as well as custom designs and restorations. Graf has also built flamenco-style guitars and lutes through the years, and estimates that he has produced maybe 400 guitars (mostly as commissioned pieces). Instruments feature cedar and spruce tops, and rosewood and koa backs and sides. Graf is now officially retired, but may still build an occasional instrument from time to time (and possibly sell it!) For more information, visit Graf's website or contact him directly.
Instruments previously built in Clarendon, Ontario (Canada) between 1970 and 2013.
