Eastman Strings was founded by Qian Ni in 1992. Qian came from China to the U.S. to study music, and, at first, started importing violins from his hometown in China. Shortly after this he founded a workshop with several master violinmakers, using old world techniques. Now they produce a wide variety of instruments including guitars, violins, cellos, basses, bows, and other accessories. For models with exposed pickups, refer to the Blue Book of Electric Guitars. For more information, visit Eastman's website or contact them directly.
