D.C. HILDER BUILDER

David Hilder built instruments for over twenty years with his main model being the acoustic stand-up bass. These models include the Doghouse and Cathouse and they are oversix feet tall. Last retail was $750 for the Cathouse and $1,200 for the Doghouse. Hilder's Garcia's Guitar model features seven laminated layers of hard wood, which are then hand carved for the top and back contouring. These guitars ranged in price between $900 and $2,000 depending upon options.
