Luthier Bill Wise builds custom high-end flattop acoustic guitars. In 1996, Wise, an automotive engineer, decided he wanted a better guitar than the junker he had from college. Instead of spending a lot of money on the guitars that were out there, he decided to build his own. In circa 2001, he quit his job and started building guitars full time. Currently, Wise offers three basic shapes in the small jumbo, grand concert, and dreadnought body styles. Baritone and 12-String options are available on the Dreadnought model.
