Luthier Leo Burrell builds guitars and basses by hand in his shop in Brighton, MI. Burrel spent many years in West Virginia building guitars, but now builds guitars in a shop on his daughter's land in Michigan. What makes Burrell's guitars unique is the patented tapered body shape that conforms to the player's body. This twisted body is accompanied by a twisted neck that reduces strain on the player while at the same time pushing sound outward rather than up. Burrell applies his conformed body to acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and bass guitars. Each guitar is individually hand-crafted with solid woods.
