STAUFFER

Luthier George Stauffer (1778-1853) produced fine guitars in Vienna. He is also noted for training other guitar makers including C.F. Martin. He is also known for his inovations to instruments. Stauffer guitars can be worth quite a bit if they are original and the label indicates the guitar was built by him.
