Blue Book Publications offers full personalized guitar, guitar amplifier, and mandolin appraisal and evaluation services in addition to our Blue Book value guides and online subscriptions. For a minimal fee, we can identify and/or verify your instrument, date it (when applicable), and assess a current value to it. Whether you are unsure of the guitar or amp you have, want a credible source to do the research, or if you need a written appraisal for insurance purposes, we can get you the information you need.

We must have good quality photos with a complete description, including manufacturer's name, model and other pertinent information.

On some guitars (depending on the trademark and model), a factory letter may be necessary.

Our charge for a written appraisal is $50 per guitar. Please allow 2-3 weeks response time per appraisal request.
