The J.B. Player trademark was founded in the 1980s where production was briefly based in the U.S. In 1989, MBT International bought the trademark and have continued to build and distribute the J.B Player name (MBT International later became Musicorp). J.B. Player offered a wide range of entry to beginner level acoustic guitars, electric solid body guitars, and basses. Currently J.B. Player only offers acoustic guitars and basses. For more information, visit Musicorp's website or contact them directly.
Instruments currently produced in Asia and the Artista Classical Series is produced in Spain since the 1980s. Distributed by Musicorp, Inc. in North Charleston, SC.
