Amplifiers currently produced in Markneukirchen, Germany by Warwick GmbH & Co., Musicequipment KG since 1982 and China since the 2000s. Distributed exclusively in the U.S. by U.S. Music Corp. in Buffalo Grove, IL. Previously distributed by Dana B. Goods in Ventura, CA and Hanser Music Group in Hebron, KY.
Hans Peter Wilfer, son of Framus´ Frederick Wilfer, established the Warwick trademark in 1982 in Erlangen (Bavaria). Wilfer literally grew up in the Framus factories of his father, and learned all aspects of construction and production ´right at the source.´ The high quality of Warwick basses quickly gained notice with bass players worldwide.
In 1995, Warwick moved to Markneukirchen (in the Saxon Vogtland) to take advantage of the centuries of instrument-making traditions. Construction of the new plant provided the opportunity to install new state-of-the-art machinery to go with the skilled craftsmen. The Warwick company continues to focus on producing high quality bass guitars.
Recently Warwick established an amplifier line to team up with their basses. They have taken tube and solid-state technology and combined them to create the best sound that they could. Like they have from the beginning, Warwick works with musicians to develop the best amplifiers they can. Warwick focused on keeping the controls simple, which can be seen on the control panel. They now have a full line of bass amps that are available in head units, combos, and speaker enclosures are available. For more information, visit Warwick's website or contact them directly.
