Pete Traynor has been making amplifiers since 1963. He had been a musician for many years and had fixed his own amplifier during his stint. He started off in Toronto, Canada making amplifiers until he moved to Nova Scotia in the late 1970s. Many different bands have played through Traynor amplifiers. Today Traynor amps are still built by Yorkville Sound. All old Traynor amps are tube designed with various features and functions. Traynor amps have a wide variety of solid state and tube amps.
