Amplifiers previously produced overseas between the late 1960s and the early 1970s. Distributed by Strum & Drum in Wheeling (Chicago), IL.
Norma was a brand used on imported amplifiers by Strum & Drum during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Strum & Drum bought National in 1970 and used both the names National and Norma on amplifiers, with Norma on smaller models and National on larger, more elaborate models. It is possible that there is some crossover between these two brands. Norma was phased out in the early 1970s, along with National amps. Norma models were built very cheaply and feature solid-state chassis with various features.
