JOHNSON AMPLIFICATION
Amplifiers and other products produced in Sandy, UT since 1997. The Johnson trademark stopped producing modeling guitar amplifiers in July 2002.
John Johnson founded Johnson Amplification in 1997, which is part of the Harmon Music Group. They are known for producing tube intergrated amp modeling with real tubes in the amp's modeling. Johnson also studied the frequency responses, and the EQ curves of vintage amplifiers to store data in modes for instant recall. Johnson stopped producing their current line of modeling amplifiers in July of 2002, but they still offer customer support and warranty options. The J-Station is still available, which is a digital device similar to the Line 6 POD. This unit contains different amp models, speaker cabinets, and other effects all in a portable, small, package. Visit Johnson's website or contact them directly for more information.
