Amplifiers previously produced in Hillside, NJ during the 1960s.
Hilgen amplifiers were built by Hilgen Manufacturing in Hillside, NJ. It is possible that these amps were built alongside or were similar to Ampeg and Sano amps of the same era. Hilgen produced mainly low to mid-wattage tube models with simple features. Models were numbered starting with the letter B for bass or T for guitar, the number 25, and followed in a type of numerical sequence. Known models include the B2501, B2503, T2512, and T2513.
