Amplifiers and speaker cabinets currently produced in Stockton, CA. Distributed by Gallien-Krueger. The Gallien-Krueger trademark was established in 1968.
Robert Gallien is a graduate of Stanford University circa the late 1960s, and he took his first hand-built amplifier to a local music store in 1968. Carlos Santana happened to be around when Gallien introduced this amplifier, and he bought it the following day. The rest, as we say, is history. Gallien-Krueger has successfully been building quality bass amplifiers and speaker cabinets for almost 40 years now. Some of the artists that play their products include Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith, Tony Kanal of No Doubt, and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In 2003, the company moved from San Jose to Stockton, California. For more information visit Gallien-Krueger's website or contact them directly.
