Amplifiers previously built and other instruments currently built in China since 2001. Distributed by the Music Link in Brisbane, CA.
The Axl trademark was introduced in 2001 as a line of electric and acoustic guitars as well as a line of guitar amplifiers. The first line of instruments were based on popular American designs (Stratocaster, Telecaster, etc.). In 2005, Axl discontinued their copy-brand and acoustic instruments and introduced the Mayhem series. These guitars have radical designs that are mainly original and are finished in black including hardware. In 2006, the Bloodshed series was introduced. These guitars are similar to the Mayhem models, but they feature two tone red and black finish. In 2007, the Marquee Series was introduced. Axl no longer manufactures amplifiers.
