ST. GEORGE
Instruments previously produced in Japan during the mid- to late 1960s.
The St. George trademark was a brand name used by U.S. importer Buegeleisen & Jacobson of New York, New York. It has also been reported that instruments bearing the St. George label were imported by the WMI Corporation of Los Angeles, California. These entry-level solidbody, hollowbody, and bass guitars featured a combination of Gibson copies and original body designs. Source: Michael Wright, Guitar Stories, Volume One.
