FUTURAMA
Instruments previosuly built in Czechoslovakia, then Sweden, and finally in Japan between 1958 and 1967. Some guitars may also carry the trademark of Grazioso.
The Futurama trademark is the brand name of the British importer/distributor Selmer (UK). However, you can also find the Grazioso trademark on some of the real early Czech-built instruments. Production of this line of solid body guitars continued in Eastern Europe until supplanted by some strat-styled models built by Hagstrom in Sweden. Finally, the Futurama world tour ended on production of small-body model versions built in Japan. Source: Tony Bacon, The Ultimate Guitar Book.
