Guitars previously produced in Japan during the 1970s. Distributed by La Playa Distributing Company in Detroit, MI.
The La Playa Distributing Company imported the Crestwood line of acoustic guitars, electric guitars, mandolins, and various other instruments from Japan. Most (if not all) designs were based on popular American designs. The Crestwood trademark is rumored to be in use again on a line of cheap guitars built in China.
