STRADIVARI
Instruments previously built in Italy during the late 1600s.
While this renowned builder is revered for his violins, luthier Antonio Stradivari (1644-1737) did build a few guitars; a handful survive today. The overall design and appearance is reminiscent of the elegant yet simple violins that command such interest today (source: Tony Bacon, The Ultimate Guitar Book).
