MITCHELL, BIL GUITARS
Instruments currently built in Bucks County, PA, since 1979. Previously located in Wall, NJ, Mitchell relocated and expanded his shop to Riegelsville, PA in 2003.
Bil Mitchell has been designing and crafting high-end acoustic and electric guitars since 1979. Bil's longevity as a full-time luthier has firmly established him as a consummate craftsman focusing primarily on flat top acoustic guitars. He and his partner Sarah Dieterichs operate the Guitar Parlor, offering custom guitars, extensive repairs, and a retail showroom.
Bil Mitchell has no affiliation with the import line of "Mitchell" guitars. His early logo is displayed as Mitchell on the headstock, but every acoustic guitar built since 1995 displays an "M" logo and sound hole label marked "Bil Mitchell". A number of acoustic basses, archtop, solid bodies, and hybrid guitars were also manufactured. Call Bil Mitchell directly to identify. For more information, contact Bil Mitchell directly.
