Instruments previously made in Paracho, Mexico. Distributed by LPD Music International in Madison Heights, MI.
Lone Star guitars were produced in the mountain village of Paracho, Mexico, which has a two-hundred-year heritage of guitar building. Lone Star guitars are available with laminate, solid cedar, or solid spruce tops and are designed for the beginning to intermediate student. Besides guitars, they also produce a variety of other instruments including requintos, mandolins, and bajo sextos. The Dallas dreadnought model retailed for $475. The San Marcos Classical retailed for $199 and the El Paso classical retailed for $475. Prices on the other models ran from $150 to $500. In the late 2000s, LPD Music decided to change the name of their guitars from Lone Star to Paracho Elite Guitars.
