DOOLIN GUITARS
Instruments previously produced in Portland, OR between 1997 and 2011.
Luthier Mike Doolin handcrafted acoustic guitars in his Portland, OR shop between 1997 and 2011. Doolin utilized several modern designs including a double cutaway body style, adjustable neck angle, and a pinless bridge. Doolin offered four standard body styles including a jumbo, OM, dreadnought, and classical and all models started at $6,000. Doolin also built custom instruments, but they must be in double cutaway configuration with spiral soundhole rosette, headstock shape, and bridge shape. Doolin retired from professional lutherie in 2011 and is no longer taking orders for guitars.
