CIMARRON GUITARS
Instruments currently built in Ridgeway, CO since 1980.
Luthier John Walsh produces acoustic, electric semi-acoustic, and electric guitars. He chose to produce guitars in Ridgeway, Colorado because of the dry and relatively mild climate. Early in his career, it was estimated that Walsh produced twenty-four acoustic guitars a year. Currently he produces about thirty to forty instruments a year. The acoustic guitar models featured Sitka spruce tops, maple or mahogany necks, and ebony fingerboards on standard models to custom configurations. The sides are mahogany (list $2,000) or rosewood (list $2,200). Options and personal requests are encouraged. Contact Walsh for further information.
