Instruments previously produced in Columbia Falls, MT by Mark Gasser during the 1980s and 1990s. Previously produced under the name Mark Gasser in Cottonwood, AZ.
Mark Gasser was born and raised on a cattle ranch in eastern Montana. He learned to make things himself at an early age, including a guitar out of a hubcap and two by four. He dreamt of building guitars ever since. He tried his luck in Arizona and Seattle before he returned to Montana. Then he met Drew Johnston in Helena, Montana. Drew had been a student of Bozo Padunavac's guitar creation school in San Diego, CA. Drew purchased the shop from Bozo and was setting up his shop in Helena where Mark became his first student. Mark produced guitars through the 1990s, and his line of guitars included classical and steel string models that are made out of quality woods.
